Driver Suffers Minor Injuries After Hitting Pole In Long Valley
Road was closed for several hours after Tuesday morning accident, police say.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – A car struck a utility pole on East Valley Brook Road Tuesday morning, causing the pole to break and subsequently shutting the road, police said.
Minor injuries were reported from the crash, which occurred just before 9 a.m. near Valley Brook Country Day School.
The road was reopened to traffic about 2:25 p.m., police said.

The road was closed between Old Farmers Road and Route 24 and power was out in the area for a period of time during the repairs.
