Design Contest Open For Long Valley Halloween Fun Run T-Shirt

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Long Valley is preparing for this year's Halloween 5K Fun Run, formerly known as the Zombie 5K Walk, and officials are enlisting the assistance of the town's children.

The town has opened a new Halloween T-shirt design contest for all township kids to enter from now until Aug. 15.

"We would love for you to design our t-shirt for our annual Halloween 5K Fun Run this fall… We can't wait to see your designs," said the Long Valley First Aid Squad.

The festive run is scheduled for Oct. 29, and all proceeds will benefit the Long Valley First Aid Squad in its mission to serve Washington Township residents and neighboring communities.

The winner of the design contest will also be put on the event t-shirt and receive a special prize, officials said.

All t-shirt artwork should be limited to one color or be easily scalable to one color for t-shirt printing. To submit your finished t-shirt design for consideration, send it in an email to hgough@lvfas.org.
