Church Plans Return To In-Person Services In Long Valley, June 20

LONG VALLEY, NJ — After a break from in-person services because of COVID-19, Long Valley Presbyterian Church will be returning to an in-person format beginning on Sunday, June 20.

The remote option will still remain for those who would prefer to watch and worship from home, with services broadcast on YouTube and Facebook, accessible via the church website.

The live-streamed services will begin at 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The church is also pleased to announce that Rev. Ryan Irmer has joined the church as pastor, announcing his arrival on its Facebook Page on Tuesday.

“We are also happy to have Ryan and his wife and daughter joining the church family, and the Long Valley community,” the church wrote in its post.

On Sunday, June 13, church members are also scheduled to participate in a river baptism, along with a worship service and picnic, according to the church's Facebook Page.

The event will follow CDC and New Jersey guidelines for masks and social distancing.

“Let’s take it slow and we will get back to what was normal soon,” they wrote.
