'Color Run' Event For Long Valley Has A New Date After Postponement
The family color run was originally scheduled for Oct. 1 but was postponed until Sunday, Oct. 16, according to school officials.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Following the postponement of the Long Valley Family Color Run earlier in October, possibly due to heavy rain, a new date has been announced.
The colorful fundraiser event will now take place on Sunday, Oct. 16, starting at 1 p.m. at the Long Valley Middle School.
"This new date gives everyone an extra two weeks to fundraise for our biggest fundraiser of the year," school officials said.

All participants should wear a white shirt that they are willing to get colored powder on, and school officials recommend bringing a white bandana or a mask to cover the nose and mouth at each color station, as well as sunglasses.
There will be entertainment for all runners and spectators, as well as a food truck with items for sale. Lawn chairs and other seating devices are permitted for all spectators who are not racing.
