LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Despite the downpour of rain, the 2015 National Night Out in Washington Township was a terrific success.That's why so many organizations are coming together and putting on the event – free of charge – for the residents of Long Valley again this month. The event will from 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 19 at Rock Spring Park, and will include Washington Township emergency services with fire truck and ambulances plus a Jaws-of-Life drill, helicopter visit, and hot air balloon. In addition, live DJ, bounce houses, rock-climbing wall, face-painting, princesses and super heroes will also be on hand. A rain date for the event is the following night, July 20, during the same time.
