Construction On Fairmount Road Begins Wednesday In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ — There may be traffic delays on Wednesday and Thursday in Long Valley because of a construction project on Fairmount Road/Route 517.
Washington Township’s Office of Emergency Management reports that construction is expected to last both days, Jan. 12 and 13, between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

In an alert message from the township, the Office of Emergency Management details that work is being done on the road’s shoulder “between the traffic light at the center of town and Highland Avenue,” which could potentially cause delays.
