Dodgeball Tourney, Signed Burton Jersey Raffle Set For Friday

Annual event begins at 6 p.m., proceeds benefit Project Graduation.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Long Valley adults and teachers: Have you ever wanted to peg a kid with a dodgeball? Kids, how’d you like to hurl something at a teacher or your own parent and not get in trouble for it?

Well now’s your chance! It’s Dodgeball Tournament time!

The annual dodgeball tournament at West Morris Central High School is set for Friday, Feb. 26 at 6 p.m. to raise funds for Project Graduation.

The event will be broken up into two categories: Long Valley Middle School students in grades six through eight can create their own teams and will face off against each other.

The high school tournament includes students in grades nine to adult or teacher. Cost is $5 per player and spectator admission is $2 per player. Prizes will be given for Best Team Uniform and registration is ongoing.

In addition to the tournament, three autographed Michael Burton items will be raffled off at 8 p.m. that night at the high school. A signed home jersey, signed away jersey, and signed Detroit Lions football are all up for grabs in the raffle for just $5 per ticket.
