LONG VALLEY, NJ — Downed wires caused a portion of Stephensburg Road and Flocktown Road to close in Long Valley on Friday morning. Stephensburg Road is closed between Old Turnpike Road and Cider Mill Lane, said the township in an alert around 10:30 a.m. Flocktown Road is currently closed between Dorset Road and Thomas Farm Lane, officials said. According to township police, JCP&amp;L is aware of the downed power wires and has responded to Flocktown Road. Earlier this morning, JCP&amp;L reported that approximately 136 Washington Township customers were without power in several areas of town.
