Driver, Dog Helped Out Of Overturned Car In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ β€” A driver and a dog were rescued from an overturned car Tuesday afternoon in Long Valley, the Long Valley First Aid Squad said.

The crash happened around 12:15 p.m., when the sedan flipped onto its side. The driver and a small dog were both still inside the car when first responders arrived.

The car was stabilized, and the driver and the dog were both helped out; the driver had minor injuries but was able to step out of the car, first aid officials said. Police took the dog, which was uninjured, until a family member could pick it up.
