Enjoy Valentine Special Menu Items In Long Valley
A White Chocolate Martini is one of the unique Valentine-themed drink offerings at one eatery.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — With Valentine’s Day on Monday, restaurants in and near Long Valley are offering meal and drink specials, along with regular menu items.
Andrea Bussel, who owns several restaurants in the area — including Long Valley Pub and Brewery, and OMG Burger and Brew — said the special menus are planned, along with regular selections. Reservations are recommended, with take-out available.
OMG Burger and Brew, located at 141 Schooleys Mountain Road, has festive Valentine-themed drink specials. Strawberry Jam, Espresso Martini, White Chocolate Martini and the Pink Cow Milkshake, are among the specialty beverages.

A dinner for two menu at OMG Burger and Brew starts off with house wine, domestic bottled beer or champagne. Food items include an appetizer, entree and desserts. Beer-battered pickles, onion battered green beans or battered mozzarella cheese curds are among appetizers. The restaurant’s “Half The Trouble” burger on the dinner for two menu comes with fries or waffle fries. Dinner for two winds down with a dessert choice of bread pudding bites or chocolate flourless cake.

Long Valley Pub and Brewery offers special appetizers, salad, entrees and dessert for Valentine’s Day and the weekend leading up to it. The menu for the pub at 1 Fairmount Road, has an eclectic mix of appetizers that include fig bruschetta, wood grilled oysters, grilled octopus and Wagyu Meatballs. The Winter Salad with arugula, has touches of seasonal fruit, roasted almonds and butternut squash.
The decadent entrees on the the pub’s Valentine menu include stuffed chicken; Red Snapper bouillabaisse with clams, mussels and linguine; lobster ravioli with grilled shrimp in a lobster sherry sauce; bacon-wrapped filet mignon; and a 20 ounce porterhouse for two.
Bailey’s Chocolate Mousse is a light and sweet touch for dessert at the end of the pub’s special menu selections.

Another Long Valley eatery offering Valentine’s specials is Chesapeake Tavern on 1 West Mill Road. The restaurant plans to have oysters on the half shell, twin lobster tails, Alaskan King Crab legs, surf and turf, and crab cakes.
