Free Family Fun At Annual Community Night Out In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Community members will come together once again this summer for the annual Community Night Out event, planned for Tuesday, July 18.

The seventh annual celebration will be held at Rock Spring Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is free to all residents.

A hot air balloon ride, bounce houses, a climbing wall, face painting, a video game truck, and other family-friendly activities are available.

Live music, axe throwing, a three-lane mega obstacle course, a 22-foot vertical rush, a dunk tank, and a Jaws demonstration are all available for children and adults to enjoy.

"Once again it is a free night of fun with free hot dogs, watermelon, pizza, ice cream sandwiches, water and soda," Washington Township Mayor Matthew Murello said.

The Washington Township Fire Department and County vehicles will be present to host a Touch-A-Truck event where a variety of trucks and vehicles will be available for children to explore, including emergency vehicles and more.

Washington Township Emergency Services and other local sponsors work together to organize Community Night Out.
