Mark Your Calendar For Long Valley's Movies Under The Stars
The 2025 'Movie in the Park' season kicks off next month. Here's what you can see at Rock Spring Park this summer.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Summer nights are made for outdoor movies, and Washington Township's Movies in the Park series is back this season.
Grab your popcorn, pack the bug spray, and settle in for Washington Township’s annual 'Movies Under the Stars' event, featuring two free showings: the comedic adventure of "Despicable Me 4" on June 19, and the epic ocean journey of "Moana 2" on July 24.
Both movies will be screened at Rock Spring Park's lower football field starting at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.). The park is located at 37 East Springtown Road, Long Valley.

Admission to the movie screenings is completely free for residents, who can enjoy a classic drive-in experience with high-quality audio and visuals, officials said.

"Despicable Me 4" (PG): "Gru welcomes a new member to the family, Gru Jr., who's intent on tormenting his dad. However, their peaceful existence soon comes crashing down when criminal mastermind Maxime Le Mal escapes from prison and vows revenge against Gru."
"Moana 2" (PG): "After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, a strong-willed girl journeys with her crew to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she has ever faced."
