Head 'Under The Boardwalk' At Drive-In Movie In Long Valley This Week
There are two free movie showings this summer, and the first one is an animated musical comedy that takes place down the Shore.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Summer brings the return of a variety of fun activities throughout Washington Township, including drive-in movie nights at Rock Spring Park.
So get comfy and settle in, when "Movies Under the Stars" returns with two free movie showings: A tale of romance and adventure in "Under the Boardwalk" on June 27, and a superhero origin story in "Blue Beetle" on July 18.
Both movies will be shown at Rock Spring Park's lower field beginning at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). The park is located at 37 East Springtown Road in Long Valley.

Snacks and drinks will be provided to movie-goers, sponsored by Target and T-Mobile of Chester.

"Under the Boardwalk" (PG): "Under the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore, a land crab townie falls in love with a sea crab tourist, but tensions between their friends and families rise. When a storm casts the duo far from home, their love will lead them on an adventure."
"Blue Beetle" (PG-13): "Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab. When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the Super Hero BLUE BEETLE."
There is no need to pre-register, and both movie events are free to attend. If it rains or there is other bad weather, the movie showing will be held on the next day.
