Health Reps, Speakers Lined Up For Long Valley's 'Back-To-Health'

There will be free blood pressure screenings and vaccines, plus guest speakers and health and social service providers planning to come.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Emotional wellness, addiction and community and social service resources will be a part of the “Back-to-Health” Open House, hosted by Washington Township’s Health Department.

“Building Back the Best Version of Yourself,” is a program scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Valley View Chapel on 115 East Mill Road.

As part of it, there will be free flu and COVID-19 vaccines, plus blood pressure screenings.

Among the speakers planning to be there are:
  • Washington Township Police Department Chief Jeff Almer
  • Sheriff James Gannon on the C.A.R.E.S. and Mental Health Association
  • Zufall Health Community Outreach
  • The Recovery Village Cherry Hill At Cooper
  • Reach NJ
Community providers expected to be there are:
  • Washington Township Health Department
  • Long Valley First Aid Squad
  • Long Valley Pharmacy
  • Norwescap Senior Services
  • Office of Hispanic Affairs
  • Hope One Van and Team
  • Life Alert and Nourish NJ
