Holiday Celebration Planned For Long Valley Seniors

The deadline to register for the annual senior holiday celebration is Dec. 1.

LONG VALLEY, NJ β€” With the holiday season fast approaching, Washington Township's Recreation Department is now accepting registration for the 2023 Senior Holiday Luncheon.

Planned for Dec. 11, beginning at 12 p.m., the luncheon is hosted by the Recreation Department at The Chandelier at Flanders Valley, 80 Pleasant Hill Road, Flanders.

Pianist Arnie Abrams, a highly sought-after pianist and entertainer who has gained recognition for his talent in providing music for events, will be performing at the luncheon for all attendees.

Abrams' passion for delivering great live music performances and his attention to guaranteeing customer happiness have made him a top choice for event entertainment in the region, with a vast experience spanning over 20 years, officials said.

For in-person dining, seniors need to register by Dec. 1, with a nonrefundable fee of $36 for residents and $42 for non-residents.

"No walk-ins will be accepted; you must pre-register for this luncheon," Washington Township's Recreation Department said.

All interested parties are asked to register by sending a check made payable to WT Recreation and mailed to Washington Township Recreation, 50 Rock Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853.
