How Many Inches Of Snow Is Long Valley Getting, And When?
The NWS has updated its snow prediction for the Long Valley area, with the town providing important storm information.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — The National Weather Service says that the snowstorm predicted to hit the Northeast overnight is likely to drop 3-5 inches on Long Valley between midnight and 9 a.m. Friday.
Governor Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency beginning on Thursday at 10 p.m., ahead of the storm.

The NWS Forecast For Long Valley:
Thursday Night: Snow, mainly after 1am. Low around 25. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Friday: Snow likely, mainly before 8am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 32. West wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 15. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
