There are two options:

The first, Washington Township residents can take their cut Christmas Trees to the Department of Public Works on 54 Rock Road.

Ornaments, lights and tinsel should be taken off of trees before disposing of them, according to the township.

The trees can be left at in front of the cinder block bin to the left, when driving in to the DPW complex.

The second, is through BSA Girl Troop 336. The troop can take trees away curbside for residents on Jan. 8, who live at the top of Schooley's Mountain and Jan. 9, for residents in the Valley.
