Long Valley Planning Board To Discuss Target Improvement Project
The Washington Township Planning Board is scheduled to hear the application on Monday, June 13.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A future Target remodeling and expansion project in Washington Township will be discussed at a planning board meeting next week.
According to planning board documents, Target, located at 68 US-46 W, Hackettstown, plans to convert standard parking spots into drive-up spots along with, adding signage, stop controls, a pedestrian crosswalk and updating supplemental lighting.
The remodeling plans call for the conversion of 29 standard parking spaces into 23 drive-up "stalls."

Drive up parking stalls allow Target employees to deliver merchandise ordered online directly to customer vehicles. In addition, exterior façade updates, including the addition of one "drive up" wall sign, are proposed to assist users in locating the drive up stalls.
At the meeting on Monday night, the application will be discussed and evaluated for completeness. According to the planning board, a public hearing will be held at a later date.

The Planning Board will meet on Monday, June 13, at 7 p.m. at 43 Schooley's Mountain Road, in Long Valley.
