Intoxicated Driver Crashed Into Pole: WTPD
The crash forced the closure of the roadway for several hours early Friday morning, police said.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — An intoxicated driver crashed into a telephone pole early Friday morning, Washington Township police said.
Chad Calhoun, 21, of Long Valley, was arrested around 3 a.m. after crashing his car on Fairmount Road, police said. Calhoun was the only person in the car at the time, police said.
Police say they found Calhoun standing outside of his car when they responded to the crash; he refused medical attention, police said.

Calhoun was charged with DWI, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released to an adult pending an upcoming court date.
The road was closed for several hours as repairs were made to the telephone pole.
