Jersey Central Helicopters To Inspect Power Lines In Long Valley

Long Valley, N.J. - It's that time of year again, when helicopters begin patrolling utility lines in Washington Township.

But it's fine; Jersey Central Power & Light, the area's electricity provider, is just conducting its annual inspection of overhead transmission lines.

The inspections are slated for July 1 through July 5. Local officials are warning residents that a black helicopter with tail number N502P may be over your neighborhood and there's no cause for concern.
