Kindergarten Registration Open For Long Valley Schools
Children must turn 5 years old on or before Oct. 1, 2025, to be eligible to enroll for the 2025-26 school year.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township Schools are now accepting registrations for kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year.
Children who turn 5 years old on or by Oct. 1, 2025, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.
Parents are asked to fill out the registration packets, which are available on the Washington Township Schools website.

The district requires the following documents to be included in the completed registration form:
- Child’s Original Birth Certificate: A copy showing the child is five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2025.
- Proof of Residence:
- One (1) of the following: deed or rental/lease agreement
- Three (3) of the following: property tax bill, voter registration card, driver’s license, homeowner insurance bill, or utility bills.
- Immunization Records: Proof of the following vaccinations:
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
- DPT (including one dose of DPT and polio vaccine on or after the child’s fourth birthday)
- Polio
- Varivax
- Hepatitis B
- HIB
If your child is currently enrolled in the district’s preschool program, parents do not need to re-register for kindergarten. The child’s record will automatically transfer to kindergarten.
