Learn Ballet At Classical Workshop In Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ —With summer vacation quickly approaching, it's time to enroll your children in summer activities and lessons.

Washington Township Recreation has organized a free ballet workshop for students aged four to nine. The workshop starts on June 6 and runs from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Senior Center, 35 East Springtown Road, L.V.

Kimarie Santiago, a former professional ballerina and accomplished dancer, invites all students to join in and observe as she introduces traditional ballet elements in a non-competitive, nurturing environment.

"Santiago will explain why this workshop is a great choice for students interested in learning the art of ballet and will welcome all inquiries," said Darlene Hatcher, the program director.

Registration is required before the deadline, May 31. All forms can be mailed to Washington Township Recreation, 50 Rock Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853, faxed to (908) 876-0029, or emailed to recreation@wtmorris.net.
