Light Fight Looms In Long Valley
Does your house have enough holiday wattage to turn back the meanest Grinch?
LONG VALLEY, NJ - Long Valley residents who think their holiday decorating is the stuff of legend have until Monday to register to be a part of the annual Holiday Home Decorating Contest in the township.
Homes and businesses are eligible, and organizers are asking participants to decorate their offerings n the most creative or festive way possible.
Participation is opened to all residents and businesses within Washington Township, Long Valley. To compete in this contest, an entry form showing intent to participate must be completed, signed, and submitted to Washington Township Recreation, no later than 2 p.m. on Dec. 5. Judging is scheduled for Dec. 12 through Dec. 14 from dusk to 8 p.m.

Winners will be announced at our “Jolly Jamboree” scheduled for 4 p.m. on Dec 17 at Rock Spring Park Pavilion, with a rain date of Dec. 18. A representative must be present from each family so that photos can be taken, organizers noted.
