Lineup For This Summer's 'Movies Under The Stars' In Long Valley Set
The family fun event, hosted by Washington Township Parks & Recreation will be held at Rock Spring Park.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Summer brings the return of a variety of fun activities throughout the township. One of these is watching movies under the stars at Rock Spring Park.
Patch has you covered this summer for outdoor movie nights, as Washington Township Parks & Recreation has announced the 2023 "Movies Under the Stars" lineup.
On select days this summer, residents and guests can pack up their seats of choice and head to Rock Spring Park, located at East Springtown Road, to enjoy a free movie in the fresh summer air.

Showings will include:
- June 16: "Sonic 2"
- Follow Sonic as things go wrong after the unexpected return of the sinister Dr. Robotnik and his new ally, Knuckles. As the duo searches for a powerful crystal capable of destroying the world, it is up to Sonic and Tails to foil Dr. Robotnik's plans. The rain date for this movie is June 17.
- July 20: “The Bad Guys”
- Mr. Piranha, Mr. Snake, Mr. Shark, Ms. Tarantula and Mr. Wolf's criminal careers are coming to an end as they face imprisonment. Determined to keep their freedom, the criminals band together to improve their public image and demonstrate their community service with the assistance of their esteemed mentor, Professor Marmalade.
Both films will be shown on the lower field beginning around 8:45 p.m. There is no need to pre-register, and both movie events are free to attend.
