Long Valley Drunk Driver Crashed Into Fish Hatchery Pond: Police
Police say they found the woman sitting on top of the car in the pond.

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ — A drunk driver drove her car into a fish hatchery pond in Hackettstown early Monday morning, police said.
Police say they found Michelle Clarke, 42, from Washington, sitting on top of her submerged car in the pond at Alumni Field at around 2 a.m. Clarke called police over, who helped her off of the trunk of the car, police said.
The hatchery is part of the Charles O. Hayford State Fish Hatchery, which hatches 15 types of fish and is run by the NJ DEP. It's not clear how the fish in the pond were affected by the crash.

Clarke was charged with driving while intoxicated and having an unauthorized car in a park. She was released with an upcoming court date.
