Long Valley Gets Several Inches Of Snow As Storm Clears Up
Here are the storm's snowfall totals and the forecast ahead.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The brunt of the storm passed through the Long Valley area overnight, leaving several inches of snow on the ground.
As preliminary snowfall totals stand, weather officials say Morris County may have received less snow than surrounding areas.

Madison - 4.7 inches at 7 a.m.
Randolph Twp - 4.5 inches at 07 a.m.
Denville Twp - 4.4 inches at 7 a.m.
Randolph - 4.3 inches at 08:30 a.m.
Denville - 4.3 inches at 8:35 a.m.
Kinnelon - 4 inches at 07 a.m.
1 E Randolph - 4 inches at 8:07 a.m.
Montville - 4 inches at 8:20 a.m.
Butler - 4 inches at 8:45 a.m.
Budd Lake - 3.9 inches at 9 a.m.
Montville - 3.8 inches at 9 a.m.
Washington Twp. - 3.6 inches at 7 a.m.
Hopatcong - 3.6 inches at 8 a.m.
Lake Hopatcong - 3.6 inches at 8:05 a.m.
Jefferson Twp - 3.1 inches at 10:20 a.m.
Rockaway - 3 inches at 7 a.m.
The highest-reported snowfall totals came from South Jersey, where parts of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties saw 6 inches.

Here's the National Weather Service's forecast for the Long Valley area as of 11 a.m. Friday through Sunday:
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 31. Northwest wind around 15 mph.
Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 14. Northwest wind around 10 mph.
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 31. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 20. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph after midnight.
Sunday: A slight chance of freezing rain and sleet before 10am, then rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Sunday Night: A chance of rain and snow before 1am, then a slight chance of snow between 1am and 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
