Long Valley Is Getting Spooky For Halloween Decoration Contest
The township is turning into quite the "haunted haven."
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Break out the spiderwebs, tombstones, and skeletons, because the Washington Township Halloween Decoration Contest is underway.
This year, the township encourages homeowners and businesses to turn their properties into a festive, and sometimes frightening, sight.
“This season, Washington Township Recreation wants you to help us crown the ultimate haunted haven in town,” a statement read. “We're calling on all ghostly gawkers and costume-clad cruisers to nominate their favorite Halloween-decorated residence — the one that stops you in your tracks and sends a delightful shiver down your spine.”
