Long Valley Man Pulled Gun, Threatened To Shoot Workers At His Home: Cops
Michael Bradley was jailed on $20,000 bail Monday, police report.
LONG VALLEY, N.J. β A Long Valley man was arrested and jailed on $20,000 bail after police say a verbal dispute with workers on his property escalated to threats of shooting.
At 9:52 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, police responded to a home on Sierra Drive for a report of a man with a handgun threatening to shoot people, Lt. Doug Compton said.
When police arrived they found homeowner Michael Bradley, 49, and an investigation showed a verbal dispute occurred between the man and contractors performing work on his property, Compton said.

During the argument, Bradley allegedly pulled a handgun from his waistband and threatened to shoot the workers, Compton said. A search of the property revealed several firearms including a 9MM handgun which was reported to be used during the incident.
Bradley was taken into custody without incident and charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and terroristic threats. He was jailed in lieu of $20,000 with a 10-percent option and was later released with a court date.
