Long Valley Mom, Author Releases First Children's Book

Lauren Palermo's 'Clicky Jules' now available online and in stores.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – Much like the author who created her, Jules is a creative and imaginative girl.

Jules, the main character in the recently-released children’s book β€œClicky Jules: Love Is All Around,” was created by Lauren Palermo, a Long Valley resident and mother of two.

Much like the story’s character, Palermo loves to create, including anything from crafts, paintings, images, and so on.

β€œI believe in books. Books are everything and fill every corner of my house,” Palermo said on her website. β€œTo me, books are the epitome of creativity and expression and I can’t imagine a world without them. Being able to write a book and share it with my children and the world is a dream come true and such an incredible honor.”

A copy of the book has been donated to the Washington Township Public Library, and a book launch party will be held June 2 at Andrea’s Dining Room in Restaurant Village. Palermo will also hold a book signing at Barnes and Noble in Hackensack on June 11.

Palermo will also be donating books to Benedict A. Cucinella School as well as the Chester Library.

Anyone interested in buying a copy can find the book on Amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, and at Toys With Love in Chester.
