2 Childhood Cancer Organizations To Benefit From Long Valley Painting Fundraiser
Proceeds from "Paint for a Purpose with Alpacas" will help Long Valley's Sarah's Fight for HOPE and Hackettstown's Smiles For Margaret.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Two childhood cancer foundations will benefit from one upcoming painting event on Sunday, Oct. 24.
“Paint for a Purpose with Alpacas” has limited space available that day from 2-5 p.m. at Celestial Acres on 214 Fairview Avenue, the event also co-sponsored by the Hackettstown Rotary Club and Elarah Parties.
For $75 for the in-person event and $50 virtually, with all paint supplies included, attendees can paint for a purpose, to raise funds for the Long Valley-based Sarah’s Fight For HOPE and Smiles For Margaret, which is a charity from Hackettstown.

Both organizations raise awareness about and funds to help those facing childhood cancers.

Sarah's Fight For HOPE Foundation was founded in memory of Sarah Crowley by her parents Ingrid and Ken Crowley, a West Morris Central High School student who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer in 2017 at age 15.
In Long Valley, the Washington Township Committee and Mayor Matt Murello proclaimed at their last meeting, September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, specifically referencing the Crowley family and Sarah’s Fight for HOPE.
Smiles for Margaret was founded in memory of Hackettstown resident Margaret Walling, the daughter of Christopher and Donna Walling, who also passed away from childhood cancer at the age of 12 in 2013.
