Long Valley Playground Closes Equipment For Repairs

LONG VALLEY, NJ — The sandbox at Rock Spring Park will be closed for repairs over the next several days in Long Valley.

The sandbox on the playground on East Springtown Road in Long Valley will be closed starting Tuesday and will remain closed for an estimated two days.

The closure is due to the necessary repairs that need to be completed, officials said.

The Flocktown-Kossmann School Playground has also been under construction in recent weeks. The playground has been closed since early September, when the old parts were removed, according to school administrators.

Since then, the new playground's pieces have been installed, and the new border was installed last week. School administrators stated that they are awaiting one more piece of playground equipment, which is expected to arrive soon.

"We are getting there," district officials said.
