Long Valley School Board Election Results Certified: See Final Tallies
The highly contested election, with six candidates vying for three seats, was a tight one, with only 200 votes separating candidates.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — It's a wrap: The results are in for the 2023 race for the Washington Township Committee and Board of Education.
The Morris County Clerk's Office confirmed Wednesday that the election results from Nov. 7 have now been certified.
For the local school board, six candidates were vying for three open seats on the board.

Current board members Jason Koestenblatt, Jill Mucerino and Stephanie Wilson, whose terms all expire this December, did not file for re-election.

Regional High School District:
- Suzanne Bliesath: 2,120
- Melanie Bratton: 1,889
For the township committee, the current mayor, Matthew Murello, ran for reelection with the Regular Republican Organization, facing off against Deborah "Susan" Desaulniers, who ran under the Morris County Democratic Committee.

Long Valley voters also got to decide on the creation of a Joint Land Use Board, which would act as a combination of the current Zoning and Planning Boards.
