Long Valley Townhouse Destroyed In Fire: PD
Police say none of the other townhouses were affected.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — A Long Valley townhouse was destroyed in an evening fire last weekend, Washington Township police said.
The fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 27 in the Hasting Square Complex. Police were already in the area for another investigation when an officer smelled smoke, police said.
No one was home at the time, and nearby townhouses were evacuated. The Washington Township Fire Companies responded, as did fire companies from the surrounding area, and the fire was extinguished.

The home was a total loss, but other homes were not affected. The fire does not appear to be suspicious, police said.
