'Magical' Short Film Being Shot In Long Valley
A new movie called "The Mailbox" will be filming around Long Valley this summer.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — It may not be Hollywood, but this past week parts of Long Valley were transformed into a movie set full of lights and cameras as filming for a new movie was scheduled.
The production company Innerscope Studio has touched down in Long Valley in order to film their new movie, "The Mailbox." The short film started filming on June 3 and Mayor Matt Murello visited the set, welcoming the crew to the community.
According to officials, "The Mailbox" follows two characters, Monica and Alice, who are from different periods and find connection through a unique and magical mailbox.

The movie stars Giuliana Sciortino, Giovanna Cirmi, and Emma Jaupi.
Innerscope Studio is a video production company that offers on-demand video production services from conception to final delivery.

In addition, the studio is currently working on the film "Death of Humanity," which is in pre-production. Kim Kavin, a Long Valley resident and screenwriter, created the film.
The film is based on true events about humanity, loss and compassion, according to Innerscope Studios.
The production company is currently looking for actors to audition for a role in "Death of Humanity." Any interested residents are encouraged to submit their resume and headshot for a chance to be an actor in one of their upcoming film productions.
