'Magical' Short Film Shot In Long Valley Selected For Film Festival
A movie that was filmed around Long Valley this summer has been selected to participate in the 2024 Cinema Paris Film Festival.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — A movie filmed in Long Valley this summer has been officially selected to participate in the 2024 Cinema Paris Film Festival.
In early June, the production company Innerscope Studio came to Long Valley to film their new film, "The Mailbox," which premiered this fall.
Giuliana Sciortino, Giovanna Cirmi, and Emma Jaupi are listed as the main actors in the film.

According to officials, "The Mailbox" will be competing in the category of Best Short Film at the festival.
"This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the dedication, creativity, and hard work of each member of our cast and crew. Your collective efforts have culminated in a work of art that has captured the attention of a renowned international film festival, and I couldn't be more proud of what we've accomplished together," Sciortino said.

"The Mailbox" follows two characters, Monica and Alice, who are from different eras and find a connection through a unique and magical mailbox, according to officials.
The Cinema Paris Film Festival is an international film festival that is hosted in Paris, reuniting artists, creatives, and filmmakers and focusing on discovering new talents and works. The jury includes industry professionals from different sectors and companies, including Cineberg Germany, Sony and more.
"This selection is not only a recognition of our talent but also a reflection of the strong bonds and collaboration that define our team," Sciortino said.
