Man Who Stole Woman's Credit Card, Withdrew Money Found In Long Valley: Cops
Wharton man was found on West Mill Road and put in jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, police report.
LONG VALLEY, N.J. – A Morris County man was arrested and charged with theft after police say he stole a woman’s credit card and used it to withdraw money from an ATM.
On April 8 Officer Michael Thompson spoke with a female victim at police headquarters who said an unknown person had stolen her credit card and used it to withdraw money from an ATM, Lt. Doug Compton said.
Thompson conducted an investigation and was able to determine funds were withdrawn from her account, Compton said. Thompson identified the suspect as Andrew Williams, 21, of Wharton, who was located at a private residence on West Mill Road, where he was arrested Tuesday, April 19, Compton said.

Williams was charged with identity theft, credit card theft, and theft of movable property. He was lodged in Morris County Correctional Facility in lieu of $15,000 bail.
