Morris Co. Girl Invited To State Of The Union By Trump
The 10-year-old cancer survivor is one of 13 people who "represent the very best of America," the White House said.

GILLETTE, NJ — A Morris County girl has been invited to attend the State Of The Union as President Donald Trump's guest, the White House announced.
Grace Eline, 10, is a cancer survivor who has always wanted to help others. "Everyone who knows Grace would tell you that she has always been special. Wherever she goes, she brightens the room with her kind heart and infectious smile. At an early age, she decided that she wanted to forgo gifts at her birthday parties, and instead ask for charity donations," a White House Press release says.
Eline was diagnosed with a germ-cell brain tumor in May 2017, and kept her bright personality through treatments.

"Throughout the rest of the year, Grace stayed positive and strong, making the rounds in the hospital, cheering up other patients, and always having a smile for the many caring medical professionals who treated her," the press release said.
Now, Eline is disease free, and she's back to giving back. She celebrated her 10th birthday in December with a dance-a-thon to raise money for the Valerie Fund, which funds pediatric cancer research.

Eline is one of 13 people invited as a personal guest of Trump and First Lady Melaina Trump.
"This year’s guests come from all different walks of life, and each has an incredible story to tell. No matter their background, each one has something important in common: They represent the very best of America," the White House said. Other invitees include a mother in recovery from opioid addiction, a Homeland Security special agent, and a middle schooler bullied because he shares a last name with the president.
The State Of The Union will take place on Tuesday at 9 p.m. You can watch a live stream of the address here.
