Morris County K-8 Public Schools Compete for the School Spirit Award
Help your local school win up to $500!

Morris County, NJ – April 1st, 2025 – Public schools across Morris County are gearing up for an exciting community-driven competition, the School Spirit Award Contest, where K-8 schools will have the chance to showcase their pride and win a monetary prize for their school.
The contest, hosted by Macaroni KID Morris County, invites students, parents, teachers, and community members to vote for their favorite school. The school with the most votes at the end of the contest will be crowned the Most Spirited School in Morris County and receive a cash prize of $100-$500, and winner certificates for each student, courtesy of The Haslett Team: Nicole and Adam Haslett from Keller Williams Metropolitan Realty.

“This contest is a fantastic way to bring our community together and celebrate the incredible schools in Morris County,” Sandy Nussbaum and Amanda Janke of Macaroni KID said in a joint statement. “We encourage everyone to participate and support their favorite school. Who wouldn’t want to help their school win some money?”

Schools are encouraged to promote the contest within their communities to increase their chances of winning. The winning school will not only earn bragging rights but also receive funding that can be used for school programs and activities as well as award certificates for each student.
The Macaroni KID platform is all about encouraging family fun for Morris County residents. The website hosts an events calendar comprising a roundup of area free and low-cost activities as well as parenting articles and a multitude of guides, such as the Summer Camp Guide, to assist local families in finding their family fun. This contest is a natural extension of their mission, and gives them an opportunity to support the local schools where our children learn, grow and thrive.
