New Short Film Slated To Be Shot Throughout Long Valley
A new movie called "Death of Humanity" will be filmed around Long Valley this spring.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — It may not be Hollywood, but Long Valley will once again be converted into a movie set as filming for a new film begins in the spring.
The production company Innerscope Studio will touch down in Long Valley to film their newest movie, "Death of Humanity."
According to movie producer Tony Sciortino, the project is set to film in May 2024.

"Death of Humanity," which is currently still in pre-production, was written by Kim Kavin, a Long Valley resident and screenwriter.
The film is based on true events about humanity, loss and compassion, according to Innerscope Studios.

The production company recently held an open casting call, which was open to all Long Valley residents. According to Sciortino, the call was closed only after a couple of days due to a massive response from the community.
Innerscope Studio is a video production company that offers on-demand video production services from conception to final delivery.
Innerscope Studio previously came to Long Valley in early June to film "Mailbox," which has since received critical acclaim and distinction at the Independent Shorts Awards, which were held this fall in Los Angeles, California.
Directed by Sal Cirmi, "Mailbox" is a captivating short film that has resonated with audiences for its poignant storytelling and performances. The story follows Monica and Alice, two women from different eras who come together and form an unusual bond.
One of the stars of "Mailbox" is nine-year-old Giuliana Sciortino, from Long Valley.
The short film not only won the prize for Best Children Short, but it also honored Sciortino, who won the award for Best Child Young Actress.
