News From the Long Valley Woman's Club

The club spreads awareness about the subject of child abuse prevention.

APRIL IS CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH - a time for child advocates to come together to raise public awareness about keeping children safe from abuse and promote their healing.

Members of the Long Valley Woman's Club planted pinwheel gardens around town to show their support and bring public attention to ways to prevent child abuse.

The gardens are located at the Long Valley First Squad, the town's municipal building, and the police department headquarters.

The club also requested that the Township Committee make a proclamation that April is "Child Abuse and Prevention month. (Submitted by Annette Sadloski.)
