No Injuries After Long Valley Truck Fire On Monday

The car was almost fully engulfed in flames before it was put out.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — No one was injured after a truck caught on fire Monday afternoon in Long Valley, the Long Valley Fire Company said.

The truck caught on fire around 2 p.m. at the corner of Ramsey Way and Pleasent Grove Avenue. Washington Township Police Lt. Douglas Compton told the Daily Record that the driver pulled over when he noticed flames, and got out of the car before it became fully engulfed.

Long Valley and Schooleys Mountain Fire Companies responded to the fire, and quickly put it out. The scene was cleared within an hour.
