One Hundred and Ten years of Community Service
The Long Valley Woman's Club celebrated their 110th anniversary at the Black Oak Golf Cub on Oct. 17.

Dignitaries attending were Mayor Matthew Murello, State President of the NJ Federation of Women's Club, Barbara McCloskey, and Highlands District Vice President, Karen Jeisi.
The mayor praised the many accomplishments of the club from their beginning in 1914, such as support for local libraries, fire stations, first aid squad, the food pantry along with thousands of dollars in college scholarships given to local high school students.
Club member Millicent Palmer entertained the group with a new stanza for the club poem, "Then and Now" listing many of these accomplishments.

The anniversary committee was praised for their arrangements at this beautiful venue.
