Long Valley's 'Racks' Boutique Is Hosting A Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer Fundraiser
Racks Valley Boutique, run by the Junior Women's Club, is selling pink ribbons in October to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Long Valley Junior Women’s Club is hosting a pink ribbon event at their Racks Valley Boutique through the month of October.
Racks Valley Boutique, a fundraising thrift and consignment store that the Junior Women’s Club oversees, plans to sell pink ribbons in October that are going to be displayed throughout the store at $1 per ribbon, to coincide with the month of October's designation as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Proceeds from the ribbon sale will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, according to the Junior Women’s Club.

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, per its website, is “the largest private funder of breast cancer research and metastatic breast cancer research,” throughout the world, having achieved the rank of “highest-rated breast cancer organization,” in the United States.

Racks Valley Boutique is located at 20 Schooley’s Mountain Road, with its hours of operation Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Proceeds from items sold at Racks benefit causes within the Long Valley community, the Junior Women’s Club naming just a few on their website, with the food pantry, schools, emergency services and families in need, among them.
