Play Ball! Long Valley Baseball Club Registration Still Open
Players age five through 16 can join one of Washington Twp.'s largest sports organizations.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – As winter closes up shop the equipment sheds are being primed to open, with spring sports on the horizon.
The Long Valley Baseball Club, one of Washington Township’s largest sports organizations with some 350 players, is accepting registrations for the 2016 season through Feb. 29.
Spring baseball is open for players ages five through 16 for levels tee ball through Babe Ruth League. Players entering tee ball must be age five before April 30, 2016; and the oldest players must be 16 on April 30, 2015.

Long Valley Baseball Club teams play throughout the township, from Flocktown fields to Cobblestone and Zion Lutheran to multiple fields at Palmer Park and Rock Spring Park. Registration fees include uniforms, field usage fees, an all equipment except a baseball glove.
The regular season games begin in mid- to late-April, weather and field condition pending, and runs through mid-June. The Long Valley Baseball Club also offers a Summer Travel League. Find out more about that here.

Coaching positions are fulfilled by parents of players. Both head and assistant coaching positions are always welcomed; volunteers interested can fill out a questionnaire here.
