Long Valley T-Shirt Police Fundraiser To Gather Money For Breast Cancer Research

Washington Township PBA 301 has a t-shirt fundraiser for breast cancer awareness taking place through Sept. 23.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — With Breast Cancer Awareness Month upcoming in October and to raise funds to benefit breast cancer research, Washington Township PBA 301 is running a t-shirt sale through Thursday, Sept. 23.

The shirts, which come in either black or white, have a pink shield on the front, with a bright pink breast cancer awareness ribbon on the back, along with the words “Hope, Fight, Cure,” underneath it. An American Flag with the “thin blue line” - the line instead in pink - is additionally on one of the shirt’s rear shoulders.

“Let’s help find a cure,” the police department wrote in a social media post about the fundraiser. “Washington Township PBA 301 is selling these breast cancer awareness t-shirts in an effort to raise some money for research.”

A portion of the proceeds for every shirt sold is planned to be donated, for $17.50 per shirt, for sizes small through extra large. Shirts in size xx-Large adds $3 to the cost, xxx-Large adds $4 and xxxx-Large another $4.50 to the original cost of the shirt.

Shipping charges can be added on to the cost of each shirt, if shipping is required.
