Police Plan American Heart Association Class In Long Valley
The upcoming class teaching CPR and AED use is planned for March 8, with training by the Washington Township Police Department.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — The Washington Township Police Department and Recreation Department have scheduled a class with limited spaces that teaches both cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of the automated external defibrillator (AED), according to information from Washington Township.
The socially-distanced American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED course taught by the Washington Township Police Department is scheduled on March 8 at 6 p.m., at 1 East Springtown Road. The deadline to register for one of limited spots in the class is March 3.
The cost to participate is $5 per student for the use of supplies, plus $20 to receive the CPR/AED course completion card at the end of the training, the township said.
