Political Newcomer Announces Bid For Washington Township Committee
Gregg Forsbrey has filed a petition to be on the June 7 Primary ballot.

LONG VALLEY, N.J. – While the spotlight has been focused on national politics for the United States presidency, locals are getting into the mix and declaring to run for elected office.
Such is the case in Washington Township, where Republican Gregg Forsbrey announced he will be on the ballot for the June 7 Primary Election for a seat on the Washington Township Committee.
Two-term committeeman James LiaBraaten and first-term committeeman Donald Babb both have terms that will expire at the end of 2016.

Neither LiaBraaten or Babb immediately responded to questions from Long Valley Patch regarding their runs for re-election.
Forsbrey has been a member of the Washington Township Land Trust, Washington Township Historical Preservation Society, and Washington Township Sustainability Committee.
