Popular BBQ Catering Spot Opening New Restaurant In Long Valley Area

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A catering company popular for its take on classic southern-style barbecue is opening a brick-and-mortar shop, bringing its southern flair to the greater Long Valley area.

The BBQ Pit Restaurant & Catering Co. has announced plans to open a new restaurant at 7 Naughright Rd in Hackettstown, located next to Retro Fitness and Nature’s Food Market.

This new venture marks a shift for owners Robert and Stephanie Traetta. Robert brings 26 years of culinary experience and 21 years of running his own successful catering company, while Stephanie brings over 21 years of expertise in catering and party planning.

While details are still scarce on the new restaurant concept, BBQ Pit Restaurant will feature a menu packed with Southern-style BBQ, slow-smoked meats, and the juicy hot dogs they’re known for. Their current catering menu also includes a variety of sides, such as baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad, roasted corn on the cob, cornbread, and macaroni salad.

The restaurant is now hiring for a variety of positions, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and catering roles, as it prepares for its opening.

The BBQ Pit Catering Co. currently offers three delivery and set-up packages, priced between $18.99 and $24.50 per person, with options varying in the selection of meats and sides. However, the Traettas emphasize that these packages are merely suggestions, and they’re happy to customize a package to suit the needs and preferences of you and your guests.
