LONG VALLEY, NJ — Officials alerted drivers in Long Valley and the surrounding communities about a traffic closure on Thursday morning. Ongoing road work has closed a section of Kings Highway in Washington Township until Friday morning, the Township announced in an alert. The roadway is currently closed to all southbound traffic, with a detour set up at the intersection with Route 57. Drivers are asked to follow the detour and should proceed with caution.
