See Updates On Long Valley’s Several Road Projects

The mayor has compiled a list of the town's several road projects, and included some completion timeframes.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — For months, Long Valley drivers have been dealing with road closures, reopenings, detours, more closures, and other projects that may delay their commutes. The mayor has addressed several projects and provided some details on them, including some expected completion timelines.

“The past several months have seen an unprecedented amount of road closures and detours due to road projects in town,” Mayor Michael Marino said Monday in a statement. “As much as it will benefit the community in the future, we know how frustrating and inconvenient it has been for everyone… Our Office of Emergency Services and Police Department work extremely hard to stay on top of these projects and communicate the best they can, but due to the volatile nature of the work (weather/staffing), many changes occur without our prior knowledge, thus resulting in delayed communication to the community.”

To help keep residents informed on their town’s roadway projects, Marino put together a list of projects, including their purpose and their completion timelines.
